Hello, Philharamonia Musicians and Parents!
Thanks for a great rehearsal last week, and I hope you enjoyed our pizza party! We have lots of work to do at this week’s rehearsal (Thursday, January 16), so please be ready do what we need to do, as you always are!
Our first performance of the Winter cycle is coming up soon on Friday, January 31. We’ll give two community concert performances that day: one performance in the morning in Youth Arts Hall, and one performance in the afternoon at North Middle School in Menomonee Falls. We need everyone to be in attendance so we can perform well! I’ve included an information sheet/permission slip and a letter you can use if you need to provide information too your school attendance office. The permission slip is due at MYSO on January 23.
Our second and final performance of the winter cycle is scheduled at 2:00 pm on February 9 at Carroll University Shattuck Auditorium in Waukesha. We’ll perform the same music on January 31 and on February 9.
Also, congratulations to all of you who participated in our Philharmonia Concerto Competition last Saturday. The judges were very impressed with all of your performances! I’ll talk a little more about this at our rehearsal this week.
