Hello, Philharmonia Musicians and Families!
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this Thursday for our FINAL full orchestra rehearsal of the fall cycle! We’ll be in Youth Arts Hall from 6:30 – 9:00 pm this week.
This week’s rehearsal is the last rehearsal before we perform this great music on November 5! Please continue to practice the spots in your music that need your attention, and do your best to make rehearsal attendance a priority this week. We’re making great progress, but we’re not finished yet! Also, we will rehearse on Thursday November 9! I’ll have new music for our winter cycle ready for you!
I’ve included “Play Your Part” performance information that was emailed to Philharmonia families last week here. You’ll find information on Philharmonia performance attire, your arrival and performance time at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center, a complete schedule of all the groups that will perform on Sunday, and more!
I also want to remind everyone about MYSO’s Play Your Part fundraising campaign. Be sure to set up your Play Your Part fundraising account and do your best to raise $150 or more. You can send donation requests to family members, friends, teachers, parents’ friends, co-workers and others through email, and the donation process is super simple. As of today Philharmonia is in 3rd place for total amount raised. It will be great to see our Philharmonia donations continue climbing in the coming days–you are awesome!
Thanks for all you do! See you Thursday!
