11.2.22 Note from Mr. Duffy

Hello, Philharmonia Musicians and Parents,

Congratulations on your OUTSTANDING performance at the Wilson Center last Sunday!

You demonstrated wonderful musicianship and great accomplishment on all three pieces! Phrasing, style, alignment, tone quality, intonation, dynamic contrast, balance, precision, confidence, and refined technique are some of the elements of a great musical performance. Thank you for everything you did to help our orchestra perform at such a high level. Great things happen when people work to make them happen, and you’ve done exactly that. Bravo!

As always, I’m really looking forward to working with all of you at this week’s rehearsal (Thursday, November 3)! We’ll distribute new music for our winter cycle. Please click the performance links below and begin getting familiar with this music–we’re going to have a great time learning this together!
