Assignments for You: Senior Symphony

Good Afternoon, Senior Symphony!

I am proud of you.  Really good work this week, and congratulations to the Chamber Orchestra on its performance last night featuring one of our incredible flutists, Zack Muñoz!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone next Monday. Before then a couple of items:

  • Would you please take care of your $150 Play Your Part commitment this week. Update your page and send out a note to a few people asking them to support this orchestra that you love!
  • Next, please spend the time necessary to refine your assigned parts before Monday.  Also, if at all possible….listen and remind yourselves how everything works together.

We’ll start to spend more time on the Symphony as we get the shorter works in our fingers and refined in orchestra. PLEASE use your metronomes…

  • Concerts are coming up, we really need everyone to attend the rehearsals. Please also make note to attend:
    • The Friday, November 3 and 5 for our Dress Rehearsal and Play Your Part performances (Details below)
    • The Wednesday, November 8 rehearsal in advance of the Community Concerts and main performances
    • Performance at the Community Concerts on Thursday, November 9 here a MYAC and at Wauwatosa East High School
