Auditions for the 2023-24 MYSO Season will take place via live or video auditions, depending on a student’s instrument and age group. For more details and to sign up for an audition, please follow this link: https://myso.org/join-myso/spring-auditions/.

Video auditions are required for:

* all woodwind, brass, and percussion players,
* current MYSO string players in Sinfonia, Philharmonia, Metropolitan Symphony, and Senior Symphony, and,
* NEW string players currently in 6th grade and up.

In-Person auditions are required for:

* Current MYSO members in String Orchestra, Prelude Orchestra, and 2nd Year Progressions, and,
* All NEW string players currently in 5th grade or younger.

Video auditions will be accepted starting April 1. The deadline to submit is April 30.

In-Person auditions will take place at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, Friday, April 14-Sunday, April 16. Appointment times will be communicated by March 31.
