Audition Registration Form

You are required to play a live audition for your placement in a MYSO ensemble for the 2025-26 season. Please indicate your availability below. Appointments will be scheduled by the MYSO office and communicated around April 1. All live auditions will occur at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center between April 9-13, 2025.

Audition times cannot be guaranteed but every effort to accommodate preferred dates and times will be made by the MYSO office when scheduling appointments. Please provide the widest availability possible to assist our scheduling process. Specific date availability for any instrument is subject to change

You have indicated that you are not available on any of our pre-scheduled audition dates. A MYSO staff member will be in contact with you to arrange an alternative audition date and time in the coming weeks.

As a current member of MYSO's Senior Symphony, Metropolitan Symphony, Philharmonia, or Chamber Flute Ensemble for the 2024-25 season, you are required to submit an audition video for your placement in a MYSO ensemble for the 2025-26 season. Please continue filling out this form and click Submit. Details and requirements for video auditions are posted on the MYSO Auditions page. All videos are due Sunday, April 13.

If placed in String Orchestra, there are four potential rehearsal sites. Please indicate which rehearsal site would be most convenient by choosing your top two from the drop down menus below. NOTE: Specific locations may change.

By clicking "I Agree" below and submitting my registration form, I understand I am committing to, as outlined in the audition requirements, either attend a live audition appointment during the dates of April 9-13 OR create and submit an audition video no later than April 13, 2025, for each instrument I wish to audition on and be considered for placement in an ensemble with the intention to commit and participate in the 2025-26 season of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra.

I understand that an offer of specific ensemble placement or membership is not guaranteed and that results will not be released until late spring or early summer.
