9/23 Note from Ms. Raber

Hello, Chamber Flute Ensemble Musicians!

Thank you so much for your work in our rehearsals in these first couple of weeks. Yesterday was wonderful and a reminder of what a joy it is to work with you and create music together!

Continue to practice those tricky sections that give you pause. Remember, the more individual time you put into slow practice with a metronome and tuner, the stronger your playing will get and the more we can accomplish in rehearsals.

A couple of quick points ā€“

  1. Please try your best to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to rehearsal. It is important for you to have time to unpack, get settled, and warm up!
  2. I have included recordings of pieces we are playing this year. Please listen to the recording with your music and make notes. If youā€™re up to it, even consider playing alongside the recording.

As always, if you have any questions about the ensemble or our repertoire, don’t hesitate to ask! At the end of the day, my goal is to support you in our musical journey together!

Best,

Sabrina Raber
