Congratulations to Ricardo Anderson II, Neil Bausch, Abigail Hanna, Aaron Moreno-Padilla, and David Ibitoye.

We are pleased to present this year’s Richard Tula Memorial Scholarship to Senior Symphony assistant principal violist Armarion Julien. Established in 2017, the Richard Tula Memorial Scholarship celebrates the involvement and support of Richard Tula, and his beloved daughter, Chloe. Chloe Tula was a MYSO harpist from 2009-2013, and currently serves as principal harpist of the New World Symphony. It is awarded annually to an exemplary Senior Symphony musician at the end of their junior year. Read more about Armarion.

Senior Symphony flutist Cynthia Yan was named a runner-up in the competitive Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Stars of Tomorrow Auditions for 2021, earning a $1,250 scholarship.
