Hello, Philharmonia Musicians and Parents!
I’m writing to let you know that Philharmonia will rehearse in sections tonight; you will be led by professional music coaches, and you’ll spend tonight’s rehearsal focusing on musical items related to your specific section. We program these sectional rehearsals three time per season, once for every concert cycle. These are important rehearsals for our development, and I hope to see all of you here tonight!
I’m also writing to let you know where your sectional rehearsals will take place at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center.
Please review this information before you arrive today so that everyone knows where they are going 😊

- Second Violins – Spolin Studio on MYAC’s lower level
- Viola – Shostakovich Studio on MYAC’s first floor
- Cello – Price Studio on MYAC’s lower level
- Bass – Martha Graham Studio on MYAC’s first floor
- Woodwinds – Sondheim Studio on MYAC’s first floor
- Brass – workshop/masterclass with Aubrey Ford in Youth Arts Hall
You’ll notice that some of your sectional rehearsal rooms are on MYAC’s first floor today, and some of the rooms are located downstairs on the lower level. I’ve attached maps of MYAC’s lower level and first floor to this message.
