Tonight’s Philharmonia Rehearsal

Hello, Philharmonia Musicians and Parents!

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at tonight’s rehearsal! Please do your best to arrive at MYAC by 6:20 pm so we are ready to start rehearsal at 6:30 pm.

As a reminder, we will rehearse in Youth Arts Hall tonight. Youth Arts Hall will be our regular rehearsal location each week; we’ll only rehearsal in Copland Hall every now and then.

We’ve added a few more students to the orchestra since last week, so I’ve made a few adjustments to our seating chart. Find your name on your chair when you arrive so you know where to sit.  Bring your music folders and a pencil, please! (You might be surprised how often….)

Please remember to store your instrument cases on the nearby storage shelves and cubbies during our rehearsals.  Make sure your instruments cases are out of the way of foot traffic  😊

We’ll start tonight’s rehearsal with the Radetzky March, then we’ll continue our work with L’Arlesienne Suite Mvts. I & IV and Russian Sailors’ Dance.  I’ve attached listening links below for your convenience – please listen to these when you can!

Mvt. I starts at 17:40

Mvt. IV starts at 33:00

Thanks for all you do!  See you soon!
