Tonight’s MYSO Philharmonia Rehearsal!

Hello, Philharmonia Musicians and Parents – Happy Thursday!

I can’t wait to see everyone at tonight’s rehearsal! Please do your best to arrive at MYAC by 6:20 pm so we are ready to start rehearsal at 6:30. MSO 1st violinist Mike Giacobassi will work with us in our rehearsal tonight. Mike is a terrific musician and teacher, and we’re very lucky to have him with us when he is available.  😊

We will rehearse in Youth Arts Hall again tonight. Please be sure to store your instrument cases on the nearby storage shelves and cubbies during our rehearsals. Make sure your instruments cases are out of the way of foot traffic.

Our seating chart will look the same tonight as it did last week.  We’ll put name signs on your chairs before our rehearsal, and we’ll likely stop doing that starting next week.

We’ll start tonight’s rehearsal with the Radetzky March, then we’ll continue our work with L’Arlesienne Suite Mvts. I & IV and Russian Sailors’ Dance.  I’ve attached listening links below for your convenience – please listen to these when you can!

Mvt. I starts at 17:40; Mvt. IV starts at 33:00

Thanks for all you do!  See you soon!
