Senior Symphony! Notes and Upcoming Rehearsals

Hello, Senior Symphony!

I am super proud of you, and I hope you are successfully navigating your busy week! And best wishes to all of you competing at the State Marching Band Competition this weekend. I hope it goes great for you and your bands!

Some notes:

  • We all need to practice, so let’s all dig deeper. Cheerfully patient with a tuner and metronome, please…focus on the hard parts.
  • We’ll meet in full orchestra for the remainder of this cycle. Just report to Youth Arts Hall, and we’ll get going.
  • A representative of the Manhattan School of Music will be at MYAC, Monday evening. You or your family may wish to connect before rehearsal, during break, or at the end of the evening.
  • Concerts are coming up, so we really need everyone to attend the rehearsals…it’s getting a bit more real now. Please also make note to attend:
    • Friday, November 3 and 5 for our Dress Rehearsal and Play Your Part performances (details below)
    • Wednesday, November 8 rehearsal in advance of the Community Concerts and main performances
    • Performance at the Community Concerts on Thursday, November 9 at MYAC and at Wauwatosa East High School
