Happy Friday, Senior Symphony!
I hope youโve had a really nice week!ย Iโve missed you!
I think this is what we need right nowโฆwould you please review your music and put a bracket around the few places you still feel awkward? Then, work on those before Monday? We only have two more Monday rehearsals until we perform at Play Your Partโฆ.and notice our Friday Dress Rehearsal, too, please. Our program for that concert is listed below. : )
Congratulations and BRAVO to all you who performed in the WSMA State Honors Band and Orchestra yesterday! I loved seeing and hearing you and connecting with both alumni and a few or your parents, too. What a wonderful opportunity for you!
Ourย Tuesday, November 19 community concerts are just around the corner, too. Our two concerts are first here at MYAC and then weโll travel by coach buses to Oconomowoc and perform for their student musicians from throughout the district. The expectation is that everyone in Senior Symphony performs these concerts.ย ย We need the whole orchestra to be present. Information has already been sent to you, and now we just are looking for acknowledgement/confirmation from you โฆ.so we know that you know! : )
Brass: Please let Mr. Duffy know your availability to play at an Admirals game
The international tour orchestra is getting stronger every week! Let marnabestul@myso.orgย know if you want to go! Also,ย 80% of anything over $150 is credited to youย during Play Your Part so that your own tour cost goes down! Please send out your requests for Play Your Part.
Take a look at our rehearsal line up below, and if you havenโt already,
See you on Monday!
Best,
Carter
