David Aswegan serves as Project Coordinator for MYSO’s Violins of Hope-Wisconsin residency program. In this role, he draws upon more than two decades of experience as a music educator and ensemble director, combining his deep understanding of the arts with strong logistical and organizational skills.

For over 20 years, David led a thriving middle school band program, managing hundreds of students across multiple schools and coordinating concerts, festivals, and trips. His background in arts education, event planning, and community outreach informs his approach to project coordination, ensuring each component of the Violins of Hope initiative is executed with precision and care.

Driven by a lifelong belief in the power of music to educate and heal, David is honored to support this transformative project. He is inspired by the history and message of the Violins of Hope instruments and is proud to help bring their stories to audiences across Wisconsin.
