Equipment Manager Rachel Jacobson is a horn player, music teacher, and music librarian based in Milwaukee. She recently earned a Master of Music degree in horn performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in music education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Rachel loves making music in all kinds of settings and has performed in a variety of ensembles. Sometimes she can even be spotted playing in MYSO orchestras. This past summer, she worked as a music librarian with the Glimmerglass Opera Festival in New York and also performed in Germany with the Berlin Opera Academy. Most recently she worked as a music librarian with the Houston Grand Opera.
