Isabel Miranda
Isabel Miranda joined MYSO in October 2026 as Program Coordinator.
A proud Milwaukee native, Isabel is deeply passionate about pouring back into her city and empowering its youth.
Isabel holds a Master of Public Service degree from Marquette University, where she was a Trinity Fellow, and a Bachelor of Arts in Community and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Throughout her career, she has held impactful educator roles at Milwaukee nonprofits, including Hunger Task Force, Urban Ecology Center, and City Year Milwaukee.
In those roles, she has gained extensive experience working with students and families, coordinating programs, and connecting communities with resources and opportunities that help young people and communities thrive. She was drawn to MYSO by a strong connection to its mission and a firm belief that education extends far beyond the classroom. She deeply believes that learning happens everywhere and that programs like MYSO play a vital role in helping young people build confidence, explore new passions, and dream bigger.
Outside of work, Isabel considers herself an outdoorsy gal, an adventurous foodie, a world traveler, and a proud dog mom of two.
