The Impact of Your Support

Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra relies on the generosity of our community to make our music training programs possible for the area’s most talented young musicians.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributed support represents two-thirds of MYSO’s annual revenue. This is crucial to our commitment to keeping membership affordable and accessible to area families, as well as ensuring that those with financial barriers receive the necessary support for participation.

Donations to MYSO change lives, giving youth a social, emotional, and personal outlet via their shared love of music. As one of our recent graduating seniors stated, “Music allows us to express human experiences we all go through. My experience with MYSO has changed what I see for my future.”

A Progressions graduate performing viola with our String Orchestra Central echoes, “MYSO has impacted my future by teaching me how to be responsible and how to work with others.”

When asked what support of MYSO means to her, a young violinist in Prelude Orchestra answered, “Your gift has helped me to explore the impossible.”

On behalf of these young people, and our one thousand enrolled musicians, thank you for considering and continuing your support of our mission.

Donations can be made online.
