Bradley Symphony Center (212 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203)

Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) pays tribute at its annual Founders Concert featuring the acclaimed Senior Symphony performing โ€œItalian Maestros and an American Queen,โ€ with works by Giuseppe Verdi, Pietro Mascagni, and Ottorino Respighi, including his Fountains of Rome, and the beautiful Symphony No. 3 by Florence Price (1887-1953), the first African American woman to have had a composition played by a major U.S. orchestra.

The Senior Symphony has long been recognized as one of the nationโ€™s top youth music ensembles, hailed for artistic excellence both nationally and internationally. The groupโ€™s 107 members are in grades 8-12. In July 2025, the orchestra will travel to Poland and the Czech Republic on a 10-day performance and cultural tour.
