Kevin Mi

2021 MYSO String Orchestra Concerto Competition winner Kevin Mi, 9, is a third grader at Swallow School in Hartland. He has been studying the cello since the age of five with Lindsay Patterson of Hartland Music. This is his first year in MYSO, and he is currently a member of String Orchestra West. This year marks Kevin’s 4th consecutive year of receiving a superior ranking in the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs Festival. In 2019, he won the WFMC Federation solo competition in his division. In his free time, Kevin enjoys soccer, tennis, skiing, origami, reading, and math. He would like to thank cello teacher Lindsay for her patient teaching over the last four years.
